Text Delay - Schedule SMS App Reviews

Got the free version thinking you could schedule text messages...which is what the app leads to to believe when in all actuality, it just puts your scheduled messages into a que. Might as well remember to send them yourself. There is absolutely no point in the free version of this app.

Does not do anything its supposed to without an in app purchase. And then $4.99 per month!!!??? Im laughing at how ridiculous that is.

DESIGNED TO TAKE YOUR INFO AND MONEY. APPLE SHOULD PROTECT US FROM PEOPLE LIKE THESE! I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO THEM

If the later scheduled text doesnt come from my number, if it comes from another number - this app creates more work than it should. Another number means Ill get lots of questions about if that is my new number.

I like the idea of sending messages that I schedule. However, I dont know anyone that would pay a subscription fee for this. I would have bought an in-app purchase, but subscription. Cmon man!

This only *reminds* you to send texts and emails. If you want to schedule it to send automatically you have to buy the plus version.

This app is simply a reminder to text/email/tweet. Plus is required for the terrible pricing structure of $5/month.

So the app doesnt automatically send the text without paying. This defeats the purpose I downloaded it.

I am giving this app zero stars because, I am 12 and got this app last minute. I bought the monthly thing so that a "automatic" text would be sent to my dad at 3 am because he was leaving on a business trip and I wouldnt see him for a while. Now I cant get in touch with him. Very sad and disappointed.

Many people wont like the idea but I think its very very important in some peoples lives who wanna schedule a tweet or mail itms kinda great idea

5/13/15: I absolutely LOVE this app. Ive used it for nearly a year and am so thankful for it. 7/8/14: Ive found Later to be excellent in at least two stages. So far so good! Ive used it mostly in the middle of the night when I remember a birthday, or a task to delegate, or a friend that I havent said hi too in a bit. I type it then schedule to send it at a suitable hour the next morning. Ive also benefitted from typing a text in the heat of the moment, scheduling it for later, then after a cool off discover if I want to still send, or its no longer needed. :) (The update is claiming I can now send THEN delete. BRILLIANT!) Its also great that I can edit, reschedule, or delete at any point in the process. There is a way for it to send without having to press "send," but as I want the text to come from my number Ive never used it. The only downside Ive experienced with the app is that it accesses ALL contact info, which makes it possible to inadvertently address the text to an email, home address, landline. While some may benefit from the email, I would find it better if the app only accessed digital communication methods; such as mobile, iPhone & email. Such a tiny glitch among so much AWESOMENESS!! :)

I downloaded this thinking it would send texts automatically at a scheduled time to discover you have to upgrade to a paid subscription to use that feature. I decided to keep the app anyway since it would still remind me to send them later but I set two test schedules to remind me to text my wife and they never even notified me. THIS APP DOESNT WORK!!! WHY DOES APPLE LET DEVELOPERS PUT THIS CRAP IN THE STORE WHEN THE APP DOESNT EVEN WORK????

This app doesnt work at all! I was very disappointed. So DONT GET IT!!

It does not send out a text messages automatically. It does not even send a reminder to send them out. I contacted tech support and still did not work

Didn’t send later. Didn’t even notify me to ask if I wanted to send later.

Signed up for the subscription, $4.99 a month!!!! It sends the message for you, but from a weird number and then you can add your signature that says sent from Bob 555 123 6899 Very misleading, dont get it just set an alarm and send the message yourself

So I was going to send my friend a birthday message exactly when she turned 12 which is at 3:29 am but you actually have to send it its horrible do not get this app

Does nothing without purchasing Pro. Completely pointless. Remove from AppStore.

Dont waste your time on this crappy app! Nice UI but it requires a monthly subscription!!!
